Space Management

The robust core of FM:Space, Space Management provides tools for managing all space and employee related aspects of your facilities. Lease and Property Management

Features of the lease and property management module include tracking lease expiration and renewal dates, evaluating building performance, storing financial data on properties and tracking owned, leased, and subleased space for multiple properties.

Asset Management

Easy to use functionality for tracking furniture, equipment, computers, special equipment, life safety systems and artwork. Automatic tracking of furniture from CAD symbols and tracking of assets by location and ownership are just some of the features of this module. Asset management can also interface with bar-code systems if required.

Strategic Planning

The Strategic Planning activity of FM:Space is a superb tool for forecasting future space needs – an indispensable feature as organizations re-stack and re-plan their facilities. FM:Space’s powerful strategic planning functionality will prove instrumental in making real estate and relocation decisions. Features of FM:Space Strategic Planning include a visual stacking function which generates automatic stacking scenarios, seamless integration with your existing space inventory and space forecasting data, ability to plan using several methods of space forecasting (i.e. by headcount, area standards, total area) and an excellent visual analysis tool combined with extensive database reporting functions.

FM:Space Move Management Module

The FM:Space Move Management module provides a centralized tool for coordinating all move related activities. The module is seamlessly integrated with your space inventory data, automating much of the data entry process and ensuring quick ramp up time for users.

Use Move Management to coordinate the efforts of the facilities, IT, telecom and other service groups to deliver well-organized and cost-effective moves. This module contains everything you need to plan and implement moves - from and to lists, move dates, telecommunication needs, and network services requirements. Plan moves graphically with new easy to use planning features. Produce management reports to document churn rates, move costs and countless move related reports.

FM:Space Service Request Module

The FM:Space Service Request module provides a centralized tool for smooth coordination of work order and preventive maintenance processes. With the Service Request module you can plan and implement work orders and preventive maintenance programs. This module contains complete functionality for tracking critical service request data, including date & time of call, caller name and location, description, priority, technician assigned, date resolved and repair costs. The historical log is valuable for analyzing call patterns and reviewing system and technician efficiency. Produce instant management reports to document this vital component of running your facility. Features such as automatic e-mail routing will enhance your internal processes for work order fulfillment.

FM:CAD:

FM:CAD is an easy-to-use, affordable CAD package designed to meet the needs of facility professionals. FM:CAD is powered by the Autodesk 2006 CAD engine and uses standard AutoCAD compatible DWG files as the native file format. FM:CAD provides essential functions for creating and editing CAD drawings in a streamlined format and offers full database integration with FM:Space.

Note: FM:CAD is an optional product, needed if FM:Space CAD users do not already own AutoCAD licenses. FM:Space is fully compatible with AutoCAD 2000i-2008.
