FM: Interact Notification Engine
The premier new feature in Version 7.1 is the new notification engine, enabling e-mail notifications to be configured based on any table in the database. This means your system can generate e-mails for any situation such as lease expirations or previously scheduled maintenance tasks. The FM:Interact notification engine also enables messages to be sent via SMS as well as through e-mail, expanding the options for notification recipients. For existing Move Management and Facility Maintenance customers, the FM:Interact upgrade will migrate notifications to the new engine automatically.
Reporting Services
Reporting is easier and more flexible than ever in Version 7.1 of FM:Interact. Employing Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services to connect either Oracle or SQL Server databases provides several new enhancements:
Advanced Reporting Capabilities – Now you can create and deploy reports with advanced capabilities such as parameters, conditional formatting and drill downs. The Microsoft Report Designer (BIDS) gives you even more flexibility to format reports and present information to highlight what is most important to you and your organization. Also, you can easily export reports to Excel, PDF, CSV and other formats.
Dashboards – Enhanced dashboards monitor and improve business performance with a clear presentation of data. Track key metrics important to you and executive management and drill down into the underlying data.
Ad-hoc Reporting - Microsoft SQL Server Report Builder is a Web-based tool that makes it easy for business users to create ad hoc reports. Now you have the freedom to quickly and easily generate reports on space, moves, maintenance, leases or any module in your FM:Interact system. |

Group-based Home Pages
Increase usage of the system by tailoring the user experience to different users needs. Version 7.1 allows system administrators to create custom home pages for an unlimited number of groups in an organization.

Calendar Rules
The new Calendar Rules feature puts you in control of your move calendar. Manage move scheduling and other facilities activities automatically by configuring rules for date fields to control which are selectable. For example, if you only want to do moves on Mondays and Wednesdays, the person entering a move could only select one of those weekdays |
Maintenance Mobile Views
Building maintenance doesn’t have to stop just because you’ve left the building. With the new mobile views feature for maintenance requests, system administrators can now work remotely to receive, open, edit and dispatch work orders from all types of Windows Mobile handheld devices.
