CADD Microsystems to leverage FM:Interact to deliver Web-enabled government facilities solutions
RALEIGH, NC – September 15, 2009 –
FM:Systems, a leading provider of integrated workplace management systems (IWMS) and computer-aided facility management (CAFM) software, today announced its partnership with
CADD Microsystems, Inc. (CMI), a premier solutions provider in civil engineering, building architecture, federal government, and state and local government. The partnership enables CMI to offer its clients FM:Systems facility management products to deliver better customer service, reduce costs, and improve the productivity of their entire organization.
With a focus on delivering facilities technology projects for the federal government, CMI needed a facilities software platform that could meet the scalability needs of government agencies, as well as provide a flexible interface to access information.
“Government is looking for more direct and immediate ways to communicate via collaborative tools, making FM:Systems Web-based solutions a good choice for facility management in the public sector,” said Matt Davoren, President, CADD Microsystems, Inc. “Partnering with FM:Systems enables us to offer our customers a robust, easy-to-use enterprise solution that easily integrates with the systems they are already using, enabling true collaboration and information sharing all from one portal.”
The partnership enables CMI to offer its customers the FM:Systems FM:Interact Workplace Management Suite, featuring an intuitive interface to provide quick and easy access to key facilities information such as floor plans, reports, employee information and critical documents. In addition, CMI is incorporating FM:Systems into its training center, offering facility management courses to the public this September.
“We’re pleased to partner with CADD Microsystems and further expand its service offerings to the public sector,” said Michael Schley, CEO and founder, FM:Systems. “Government agencies are really looking to technology solutions to streamline their processes. FM:Systems is thrilled to provide products that can help make facilities management easier and more efficient.”
